Did you recently take a DSST exam and fail to pass it? No worries. For a limited time you may be eligible to retake your test for free.
DANTES, the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support, has announced between March 13 and April 30, 2017, military servicemember students who did not passed their first attempt at an exam will be eligible for one FREE retake.
DSST (DANTES Subject Standardized Tests) are examinations in college subjects that are comparable to the final or end-of-course examinations in undergraduate courses. Many colleges will grant college credits for each DSST exam you take and pass. DSSTs cover courses like Business Law, Ethics in America, and Physical Geography.

For the same limited time period DANTES is also reducing the standard retake wait period from 90 to 30 days.
If you do not pass your first attempt at an exam you will receive a voucher code via email within a few days, just provide the voucher code when you retake the test. Voucher codes must be redeemed by June 30, 2017.
DANTES offers several Credit-For-Examination programs that are free for active-duty members.
The fine print:This promotion does not apply to the Principles of Public Speaking exam. The voucher code will be specific to the failed exam title and may only be used once. Voucher codes must be redeemed by June 30, 2017. After April 30, 2017, all DSST exams will return to the standard 90day waiting period retake policy. You are responsible for ensuring that your college or university accepts DSST exams for credit
